I wish I could have known you, Wish I could have seen the real you. I only saw the monster, the villian, a thing to be feared. To others you were kind, thoughtful, loyal. To me you were cruel, hateful, abusive. I wanted to hate you. I wanted you gone. But now I'd give anything to have you back. your smile, your music, you. I was one of two. You left me alone, and now it's just me, just one. The pain never leaves. My heart won't seem to heal. I still want to hate you, and know I never will.
